Soprano Tamara Radjenović made her official debut in Mexico on Friday, 23 October 2026, in front of a full house at the historic Teatro Isauro Martínez in Torreón. Milenio described the evening as a historic night for the cultural life of La Laguna, with a programme that combined great operatic arias with beloved pieces from the Mexican and Latin American repertoire.

Tamara Radjenović was accompanied by the Camerata de Coahuila under the artistic direction of maestro Ethan Eager, and by the Choir of the Instituto de Música de Coahuila, led by maestra Luz Alicia Ávila. Among the audience were the Mayor of Torreón, Miguel Ángel Riquelme, together with distinguished guests from the political, business and cultural life of the region.

The first half opened with Bizet's Carmen, including the “Habanera”, followed by “Casta Diva” (Norma), “O mio babbino caro” (Gianni Schicchi) and “Sempre libera” (La traviata). In the second half the soprano turned to Mexican and Latin classics such as Agustín Lara's “Piensa en mí” and “Granada”, “Historia de un amor”, Obradors' “El vito” and María Grever's “Júrame”, closing the evening with “Por ti volaré” and “Bésame mucho”.

According to Milenio, the gala ended with a standing ovation, confirming Tamara Radjenović as one of the young voices with the greatest international projection today.
